About Us

Jeff decided to venture out on his own and start Birchwood Auto Service, the doors opened in 2018. He is the co-owner & lead tech. He has been a mechanic for 30 years; he attended Dunwoody College and is an ASE certified Master Tech. He specializes in diagnostic and electrical work. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and pets. He also enjoys tackling new projects around the house.

Interesting fact: He did a stent as a mechanic on the hit TV show Pimp My Ride. 

He also has 12 years in recovery from addiction.

Jerry started working at Birchwood in January of 2020. He has 23 years of experience as a mechanic. Jerry likes the nuts and bolts jobs, brakes & suspension.

In his free time, he enjoys going to concerts (live music) and watching horror films.

Interesting fact: He lived in Madagascar as a young kid for a year and then grew up in Texas before coming to MN.

Andy started working at Birchwood in September of 2023. He comes to us from tires plus were he previously worked for 12 years. He is an ASE certified Master Tech. He received his Automotive diploma from Century College.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his son, especially going on traveling baseball tournaments. He also enjoys fishing, deer hunting (bow & rifle), watching sports (Vikings, Twins & Wild) & Snowboarding.

Interesting fact: He lived in Maui for 1 year.

Petey joined Birchwood in July of 2021. He is part time. He works Tuesdays & Wednesdays. His job title is Shop Dog. He specializes in knocking papers off the desk & spilling coffee. He is still working on his manners and gets a little excited when meeting new people.

In his free time, he enjoys playing ball, chasing his cat brothers, being outside, chewing on bones & napping on the couch with his humans.

Interesting fact: He was adopted from the Animal Humane Society
